Shannan McPherson (born on 12th December, 1985 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian rugby league player for the Salford City Reds of Super League. He previously played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs. His position of choice is in the second-row.
Shannan became a first time father of baby boy, Kayden William McPherson on Boxing Day 2008.
On 29 June 2011, it was announced that McPherson had signed a two year deal with Welsh outfit Crusaders RL from the 2012 season.[1] Due to the Crusaders withdrawal from Super League, McPherson's deal fell through. McPherson will now join Salford City Reds on a three year deal.[2]
